![]() Many players are reporting it’s actually possible to miss the triggering event that unlocks the Scythedancer. The story event actually grants you an existing Scythedancer, however, to get the achievement to pop you must Germinate a new one. The achievement should immediately pop as soon as you confirm the class selection. Simply, do what you do create any new Daughter, go to your Inner Void and Germinate a new Daughter, then assign her the Scythedancer class. This can be done anytime after you’ve obtained the Scythedancer via the story. Suffering will use a large number of attacks every time it gets a turn that include delaying your Daughter's turns, swapping places with the furthest Daughter away and deal damage and aoe damage, a cross beam attack on each Daughter (make sure no Daughters share columns or rows or they may not survive), instant kill attacks, and more.Note: The class is actually called the Scythedancer, not the Scythebearer, so I’m not sure why the description reads as it does (perhaps Scythebearer was a name during beta, no idea). You should aim to do as much damage as possible before the boss gets a turn. Suffering can become a long fight if not prepared for correctly so make sure you have skills and memories set up to deal with it (in particular, any self/ally buffing skills with a 100% initiative delay resistance will assist immensely). (Side note: Your Daughters go into the next fight at their current placement on the timeline, HP, AP, active skills, and placement on the field.) Regardless of the method of its demise, a cut scene will play bringing you up against Suffering. You can kill it before it hatches or if you do not deal enough damage, the boss will explode and damage any nearby Daughters. The boss will teleport around a bit if given the opportunity and when it gets near death it will start a "Hatching" attack. Kill the enemies on the field and as they spawn and tear the boss down. The first part of this fight against the Nucleus is pretty easy. (My personal go-to was 2x Shieldbearers, 2x Soulsingers, 1x Scythedancer). There are various class combinations you can use for this fight so find whichever works best for you. This fight allows you to have 5 Daughters. If not moving, you have less to worry aboutĭefeat the fifth boss: Nucleus & Suffering If moving, ensure your AP stays above 85. (Turn 6) If the enemy has not moved next to you, you will need to move closer to it.(Turn 5) Use Vengeful Stance then End Turn.(Turn 4) Move to the square NE of the central enemy then End Turn.(Turn 3) Use Hail of Shards (position it so that it will hit both enemies in the SW corner) This will End Turn.(Turn 2) Use Vengeful Stance then End Turn.(Turn 1) Use Vengeful Stance then End Turn.(Turn 1) Slash the enemy directly next to Mother.Follow the prompts until you are given free reign over your actions. The following can be used as a guideline: This can be easy to miss the first time as there are only a number of turns you are allowed before The Child shows up and forcibly moves you forward through a cut scene (regardless if you have killed all enemies or not).ĪP management is key to this and you should try not to let Mother go into Burst mode if at all possible (meaning: do not spend more than 50 AP in a turn). ![]()
